In NYC, 41% Don’t Make it Out Alive

The highest abortion rate in the United States belongs to New York City. In 2009, there were 126,774 live births in NYC and 87,273 induced abortions–yielding an abortion percentage of 41%. That's double the national average. More shocking still is the fact that among Non-Hispanic blacks, the abortion percentage in New York City is 60% (27,405 live births versus 40,798 abortions). That number should shock and outrage lovers of racial equality–no matter what their opinion of abortion.
