You you know what’s really missing? A sense of right and wrong. Simply put, truth.

As I researched the various statistics a few days ago and saw in horror figures like you have listed above, I was moved to create a video on YouTube to try to raise awareness about the moral degradation of our society and to emphasize the only solution to this problem.

Too many people are simply trying to address this problem superficially while we are completely ignoring the underlying crisis. You see, it’s hard to teach young people that child abuse, abortion, murder, etc. are wrong when they have no concept of what wrong is. In this age of hypertolerance and subjective morality, we have removed from our children’s education all foundation of virtue for fear of insult. The only natural, logical conclusion of this system, however, is chaos and anarchy. Without an absolute reference for determining what right and wrong are, we end up with 300 million opinions and little hope of changing anything. A solution can only come in the form of the widespread rediscovery that the only tried, true, unchanging reference for right and wrong is the Word of God.

Of course, I still believe that an acceptance of God’s Word has to be a personal choice; it would be hypocritical to force a belief on anyone, especially in this great, free country of ours. But when people disregard the Bible as our nation is, the result is not surprising.
