10 Ways to Promote Abort73 on Facebook, MySpace & Twitter
1. MAKE ABORT73 A TOP FRIEND (MySpace)
Just adding us as a friend doesn't do much good if we're simply relegated to the obscurity of your "View All Friends" pages. Making us a top friend puts us front and center, and shows people who visit your page that Abort73 is important to you (and the odds of them clicking through to Abort73 go way up!). To add Abort73 as a MySpace friend, use the "Add Us" link on the Abort73 MySpace page. Once your request has been accepted, use the "Change my 'Top Friends'" link (from your MySpace "Home" page) to designate us a top friend.

2. MAKE ABORT73 YOUR FEATURED CAUSE (Facebook)
This puts a link to the Abort73 Facebook cause on your main profile page. After you've joined the cause (look for the "Join" link on the Abort73 Causes page), go to your "Causes Home" (a link that sits towards the top of every causes page) and look for the "Featured Cause" block on the right side. If Abort73 isn't already your featured cause, use the "Change Featured Cause" link to designate it as such.

3. ADD AN ABORT73 GRAPHIC TO YOUR PROFILE PAGE (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter)
There are lots of ways to do this. Even though Facebook doesn't allow for as much customization as MySpace, you can use applications like Pieces of Flair or Bumper Sticker to add Abort73 graphics to your site. Once you've installed the application(s), do a search from within the application for "Abort73" and take your pick from what you find. Use the "Add to Profile" link to place these virtual buttons or stickers on the wall of your profile page and in your tabs bar. On MySpace, you can add Abort73 Graphics to any of your profile's "Interest" fields. On Twitter, you can add them to your background.

4. POST A LINK TO ABORT73 IN YOUR NEWS FEED (Facebook)
Use "Add: Link" (from the "What's on Your Mind?" box) to link to any page on the Abort73 site (just go to the page of your choice and copy the URL from the address bar at the top of your browser). Once you publish ("Share") the link, it will show up in the news feed on your profile page and in the news feed on your friends' "Home" pages.

6. TAG YOUR ABORT73 SHIRT PHOTOS / ADD THEM TO THE FAN GALLERY (Facebook, MySpace)
On MySpace, you can "tag" Abort73 in your photos (just as you would with any of your other friends), so if you've got an Abort73 shirt on in any of your photos, use the "Tag Photo" button to tag Abort73. This will automatically add you to our "Tagged Photos" gallery and will also provide a link to the Abort73 MySpace page from your photo. On Facebook, you can't tag Abort73 in your photos (yet), but you can upload photos of you in your Abort73 shirt(s) to our Fan Gallery. Doing so will also add a story and link to your news feed, which will likely draw some of your friends to the Abort73 Facebook Fan Page.

8. SUGGEST ABORT73 TO YOUR FRIENDS (Facebook, MySpace)
On the Abort73 Facebook Fan Page, use the "Suggest to Friends" link on the left side of the page, under the main picture. For the Abort73 Facebook Causes Page, look for the "Invite" link on the right side of the page, under the main picture. On the Abort73 MySpace page, use the "Forward" link on the left side of the page, in the grey box. All of these options allow you to invite your friends to check out Abort73.
9. PUT A LINK TO ABORT73 IN YOUR "INTERESTS" OR "HEROES" FIELD (Facebook, MySpace)
The "Interests" field in your Facebook profile (Info tab > Personal Information) is a great place to insert a link to Abort73. Just copy and paste the Abort73 URL (http://abort73.com) into your "Interests" field, and a link to Abort73 will be automatically generated. You can add the same link to any of your MySpace "Interests" fields (Choose "Edit Profile"). They don't have a specific field for web links, so you'll have to choose something like "General" (or "Heroes"!). Since MySpace doesn't generate the link automatically, you have to paste it like this: <a href="http://abort73.com" target="blank">Abort73.com</a>
